Funeral Assistance Program

Funeral expenses can be overwhelming for some families. However, every individual deserves to have a proper goodbye. Luckily, the Monroe County Funeral Assistance Program exists and we have established an excellent relationship with this program. Upon an investigation and approval, those that do not have the assets to pay for a funeral can receive financial help. Currently, the maximum benefits are:

• $2,500 for burial services;
• $1,800 for viewing and cremation;
• $1,400 for direct cremation; and
• $800 for infants & children up to 5 years of age.

If you are concerned about paying for a funeral, please notify one of our funeral directors and we will help with the application process involved with the Funeral Assistance Program.
