Obituary for Christopher J. Brock

Christopher Jared Brock, (C.J.), was born November 22nd 1998 to the late Jerry Lee Brock Sr. and Vicky Cote. Jerry was excited to have a second son. C.J. was an active kid who loved being outside exploring. He had a ton of friends whom he would be outside with all day long, going on “adventures.” He was fearless! C.J. was welcoming to everyone. There wasn’t a person he wouldn’t talk to or befriend. He was loud, with a laugh that filled a room giving you no choice but to know that he was there. His energy and presence was magnetic. He loved to sing and to listen to music. He also liked to write, whether it was a poem, rap or whatever came to mind, it usually ended up in a rhyme. He was a boy who loved his daddy, whose loss was never far from his mind. As he got older he started being referred to as “Chris” by his friends. Even then, to us he was always our little brother C.J. and Uncle C.J. by all of his nieces and nephews, even those close in age. Unlike our dad, he never learned to cook, though he did share his love of good food. C.J. Loved his family. He never forgot you on a holiday or a birthday. No matter how many times a day he talked to you, he never failed to end any call without quickly saying “I love you! Bye!” .

Christopher(C.J) is predeceased by his Father Jerry Brock Sr. He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother Vicky Cote, sisters Shequila Brock-Watts(Mike) Lashonda Brock( Steven) Melissa Brock and Sade' Gross all of Rochester, NY.
