Obituary for Odain Wallace

Odain Wallace was born May 24, 1946 in Kingstree, South Carolina to the union of Jackson and Gennie Wallace. Odain was the fourth oldest of eight children.
Odain attended and graduated from St. Mark High School in May of 1965. After graduation, he relocated to Rochester, New York where he was employed at Rochester Transit Services as a mechanic. He later
transitioned into a trade as a certified roofer with David's Roofing, holding that position for many years.

He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior at an early age, and after his move to Rochester, became a faithful member of Saint Michael's United Methodist Church. In his later years, he
attended the Danforth Towers Christian Church in the comfort of the community room where he lived.
Odain was a fun-loving family-oriented individual. He loved laughter and was always a positive inspiration to all those he came in contact with. He loved talking with children and siblings on a daily basis, and he was also a good steward of all he had.

In His immeasurable love for Odain, God called him into eternal rest on January 27, 2021, surrounded by his loved ones. He is predeceased by: his loving parents, Jackson and Gennie Wallace; his 2 siblings and best friends, his sister, Othell Chatman and his brother, Willie Wallace, and 1 brother-in-law, Joseph McGee.
