Obituary for Tamika Brown
Tamika Brown was born May 28, 1977 in Rochester, New York, daughter of Lila Brown. She attended Edison Technical and Occupational High School, from which she graduated. Tamika worked for LAI and various employers until her health began to fail.
Tamika attended Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church under the
leadership of Reverend Douglass Smith for eight years. She later moved her membership to Friendship Baptist Church under the pastorate of Reverend Allen Williams. Her favorite scripture was Psalm 27:1.
Tamika loved her family and friends. She also enjoyed being around people, laughing and having fun. Tamika left peacefully on July 21, 2020. Predeceased by her mother, Lila Brown, Tamika leaves to cherish her memory: Shirley and George Green, of 31 years; sisters: Dominique, Erica, Denisha, Hope (Perry), Angela, Cynthia of Arizona and Edith, also of Arizona; brothers: Demetrius, Davon, Thomas (NeNe), and Jacques; nieces, nephews that she loved dearly, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
