Obituary for Willie Carter

Willie Carter IV was born in Rochester, New York on February 4, 2003 at 12:20 a.m., the son of Dominique Jones and Willie Carter. Willie attended Leadership Academy for Young Men, where he was a sophomore. In May of this year, he took the Navy Entrance Exam in hopes of becoming a Navy Seal. Willie was also aspiring to become a rap artist and produced numerous videos. In addition, he was a real sports enthusiast, and wanted to experience every sport, but his favorites remained football and baseball. His favorite team
was the 49ers.

In his younger years, he was a Boy Scout and studied Karate. He loved spending time with family, eating good food and listening to music. He was a sweet, loving son, always giving out hugs and
kisses and “goofing around”. His circle of love included close family members with whom he shared a special bond.

Willie departed this life suddenly on June 19, 2020 leaving to cherish fond memories: his mother, Dominque Jones; father, Willie Carter; stepfather, Dale Jones; brother, William Carter; sister, Iyana Carter; grandfather, Aric Holmes; grandmother, Glenda Carter; great grandmother, Kate Jackson; 5 uncles: Tamar Holmes, Johndray Carter, Derrick Carter, Sharod Carter and Clifford Dearing; 3 aunts: Sierra Parks, Tashonda Carter, and Necia
Holmes; Godmother, Teena Ramos and a host of cousins and friends.

He will be missed and loved by many.
