Marzello Rambo, Aunt:
Remembering Larry Jr. in his former years, I can always recall my nephew as a fun loving young man, always with a smile on his face. We spent much time together, as his babysitter, when I was a teenager in high school. I will miss my nephew and will cherish my most fond memories of him. When his mother, Glois Jean Crowder, was living, she took great pride in the care for Larry Jr. and saw that all his needs would be met even down to what he was to wear on his day to return home. She loved her son dearly and awaits his arrival. Rest in heaven nephew, and know that your battle was won long ago, by Christ Himself.

Jerry Younger, Brother:
These are some of the memories of my little brother's life as I remember them. He was raised by his paternal grandmother, and he lived a rather sheltered life, but still succeeded with passion. At the age of 16, he graduated from high school with honors and then misfortune struck what should have been a joyous occasion in his young life. At the age of 17 he was hanging out with some friends and he was sitting on the 4th floor balcony of a hotel in Midtown. Suddenly, without any prior warning, the balcony gave way, and Larry Jr. accidentally fell off the banister. Unfortunately, the fall was so severe that he was paralyzed from the neck down and was committed to a wheelchair for the rest of his life. He lived by himself for a while in his own apartment, until he started having seizures. In fear for his safety, our mother committed him to Monroe Community Hospital. The staff at the hospital really enjoyed his company and he was always happy and full of joy. Surprisingly, he was a real Entertainer! Sometimes he got depressed because of his condition and isolated himself and would not talk to the people that came to see him, not even me, his Big Brother. Unfortunately, he spent the duration of his life bedridden. He was a very special person with a very unique personality and I love him very much. I will miss him. Rest in peace little brother.

Charlene Younger Long, Sister:
My little brother was always a joy to be around. As family members have already stated, he always had a smile on his face and enjoyed life with little concern for anything negative. We spent time together when we were kids. As we got older, I would visit and spend time with him at his apartment in New York.
Unfortunately, after I relocated to California, I wasn’t able to visit much, due to the demands of a growing family life, but always held my little brother close to my heart as I missed having regular contact with him. The bible says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, so I know he is now with Our Father in
Heaven, no longer in pain, awaiting all of our arrivals. Love you little brother, please forgive me for the times I couldn’t be there to comfort you, but I surely look forward to seeing you on the other side
