Thelma Belinda Fair was one of nine children born to the late Thelma and Matthew Fair. She was born on April 23, 1945 in Orangeburg, South Carolina.
Thelma grew up and attended School in Orangeburg. She re-located to Rochester, New York in the late 1960’s. While in Rochester, Thelma became employed at the Eastman Kodak Company, which she retired from after 20 years of employment.
Thelma met and married the late Edward Waller in 1998. They enjoyed 17 years of marriage. She was a wonderful and loving mother who was extremely proud of her children. She accepted Christ and joined the Holy City International Church of God in Christ where she was a deaconess and served on the Usher Board.
She leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memories her children, Thomas Glover, Sr. (Luz Vargas Glover), Kenny Glover, Anthony Glover, Sr., Dyane Coaxum, and a grandson, whom she raised as a son, Anthony Glover, Jr., 2 sisters, Louise Fair and Vickie Chandler. ,Edward Waller, Jr., Gregory Waller, Gloria Waller-Davis, E. Faye Waller, Joyce Waller-Mitchell, and Glendaye Waller, 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Thelma was predeceased by her Husband Edward Waller, Sr., 3 sisters, Estelle, Mary and Felicia, three brothers, Moses, Harry and Luke.
Sister Waller was a strong woman who cared for people and their needs. She was a cancer survivor, fed the hungry and never complained.
